SUMMER
Come dance with us this summer!
Summer is the perfect time to explore dance, build confidence, and have fun. New dancers can experience a variety of dance styles with flexible, short-term classes, while experienced dancers can use the summer months to strengthen technique, refine skills, and focus on artistic growth without the demands of a busy school schedule.
We offer something for dancers of all ages and experience levels, and we look forward to helping you find the class that's right for you.

Summer Dance Intensive #2

ALEX PETERS
Alexander Peters trained with Nicole Swope and
the Allegheny Ballet Academy before attending
the School of American Ballet (2007–2010) on
the Andrei Kramarevsky Scholarship. He went
on to dance with Kansas City Ballet and Pennsylvania Ballet, where he was promoted to Principal, before joining Miami City Ballet in 2017 as a Principal Soloist and becoming a Principal in 2019.
Peters has performed leading roles in works by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Twyla Tharp, Alexei Ratmansky, William Forsythe, Justin Peck, Jiří Kylián, and many others, and has originated roles in works by Twyla Tharp, Matthew Neenan, Pontus Lidberg, Nicolo Fonte, Trey McIntyre, and Brian Brooks. In 2024, he joined Twyla Tharp Dance for the Diamond Jubilee tour across the U.S. and Europe.
He is the recipient of the 2008 Princess Grace Award and the 2010 Mae L. Wien Award for Outstanding Promise, and has also filmed archival segments for the George Balanchine Foundation.
Winner of the Stand Out Studio Award and Schaffer Studio Award at DanceMakers regional competition!
