AVID DANCE PRODUCTIONS

OUR COMPETITION TEAM

AVID Dance Productions is Centre Dance's competition team that travels throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states during the year. AVID was created for dancers who wanted a greater commitment to the art of dance. This team trains all year long and spends many additional hours in the studio working on new choreography and rehearsing. AVID Dance Productions is under the direction of Nicole Swope.

Our competition dancers train in and compete in the following styles: ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, acrobatics, and modern. We are proud to present such a hard-working, well-rounded team.

OUR TEAMS

Our teams are separated by age and judgment by our director, Nicole Swope. To stimulate team spirit, we mix and match our teams to create pieces that include dancers of all abilities and ages. Our older dancers mentor and help our little ones learn the ropes.
